Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Depart from your hotel/airport in Dar es Salaam
Depart from your hotel/airport in Dar es Salaam and head to the SGR station for your morning express train. Enjoy a comfortable ride aboard the Standard Gauge Railway (SGR), passing through the Tanzanian countryside en route to Morogoro.
Arrive at Morogoro SGR station, where your driver-guide will be waiting. After a quick refreshment and breakfast, begin your scenic road journey toward Ruaha National Park. Arrive at your lodge or tented camp near the park. Check in, settle into your room, and take the late afternoon to relax after the journey. Enjoy a hearty dinner at the lodge and an overnight stay.

Our Accommodation: Ruaha River Lodge offers a great local and exceptional value to stay, right on the banks of the Ruaha river. The lodge consists of Riverside Bandas in which each elegant banda extends onto a large, private wooden deck that descends to a secluded seating area along the riverbank a playground for the park’s abundant birdlife.
Day 2: Full-Day Game Drive in Ruaha National Park
Breakfast and full day game drive with picnic lunch. Dinner and overnight at the lodge

Day 3: A Day of Culture and Wildlife
